## Two photographers, one marriage

Liliya and Albert Chernogorov are a husband-and-wife team who shoot fine art wedding photography, splitting their year between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. They call Las Vegas their second home base and work everything from large resort weddings to small desert elopements here. Resorts World Las Vegas lists them among its preferred wedding photographers in its 2026 packages, and their journal includes a wedding at Aria. They also travel for weddings along the California coast, across the country and to Europe.

Their roots are European. Albert has worked as a professional photographer since 2008 and spent about a decade in Europe shooting high-end clients, sporting events, world competitions and big stage productions before the couple moved to the United States. Liliya came to photography through fashion and design, and the couple credit her with the editorial eye in how they compose and style each image. Together they have photographed more than 400 weddings since 2017, most of them in the U.S.

### How the day runs

They scout the venue during the wedding week, including backup spots and a lighting plan in case of weather, and build a photo timeline around the planner’s schedule. Posing is guided rather than stiff; because they are a couple themselves, they can demonstrate a pose, which helps a camera-shy partner relax. Usually both of them shoot the day, and they bring off-camera flash to every wedding in case things move indoors. They have covered Jewish, Indian and Pakistani, Persian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese celebrations, and they make a point of photographing families and guests, not only the couple.
