Chef Lewis Pierrott and his wife, Arlene, bought it a little more than two years before that article. Lewis runs the kitchen every night; Arlene runs the front of the house and manages the business. The magazine reports that the new owners kept the decor, menu favorites and service standards that regulars knew, that most of the staff are longtime employees, and that Lewis has added some dishes and specials. ## Menu Edible Reno-Tahoe describes five-onion soup with melted Swiss, escargot-stuffed mushroom caps, New Zealand rack of lamb and bone-in elk chops, and says the restaurant is known for its game.
