They come in a truffle box with a side of honeycomb, the cheese selection changes daily, and they are sold as party favors and client gifts. ### How the shop came to be Cheryl Samlaska started Board & Graze in 2018. She had always loved putting out big, good-looking spreads for parties, and custom grazing boards were popular in Australia but rare in the States, which pushed her to try them here. She began in a borrowed corner, renting part of a friend’s commercial kitchen in a warehouse, and the business grew by social media and word of mouth. When the pandemic shut her friend’s business, she needed a new home and decided to open the storefront she had wanted from the start. The Cheeseboard Boutique opened on February 9, 2022, on South Eastern Avenue in Henderson. She calls it Las Vegas’ first cheeseboard boutique, and bills it as Not Your Average Cheese Shop. Samlaska and the staff she calls customer service concierges work the counter and help plan custom orders. ### What you can order - Grazing boards and boxes for small get-togethers - Grazing tables for bigger parties - Picnic boxes - Custom spreads for any occasion, arranged by call or text Spreads are built from artisan cheeses and charcuterie with fresh and dried fruit, preserves, olives or cornichons, honeycomb, chocolate and nuts.
