Jason Farrell's move into pool service followed work that kept him away from home for months at a time. After serving in the Air Force and working for a government contractor, he built Beat the Heat Pool Service around a local trade in Las Vegas.

Farrell moved to the city in 2006 and began working in the pool industry in 2012. His company concentrates on residential pools, combining scheduled cleaning with repairs and occasional jobs that do not require an ongoing service arrangement.

## Two ways to handle the weekly work

Customers can choose full weekly service or a chemical-only option. The distinction lets homeowners discuss how much of the routine maintenance they want the company to handle. An initial pool evaluation provides a starting point for choosing the work.

## When a pool needs more than maintenance

- Equipment and plumbing repairs, plus equipment replacement.
- Filter cleaning and calcium removal from pool tile.
- Green-to-clean work, draining and chlorine baths.
- One-time cleanup before the swim season or a home sale.
- Handrail installation for pool or spa entry and exit.

The company's green-pool service notes that draining is not always required. Other jobs specifically involve draining, stain removal and refilling. Which approach applies depends on the pool, so the service list is a basis for a discussion rather than a fixed treatment for every situation.

Farrell is identified as owner and operator in an independent local business profile, which also describes his support for school sports organizations. His own business story centers on having more time with family while helping other residents keep their pools usable.

Beat the Heat accepts inquiries through its website, direct email and local phone. Customers can describe the pool's condition and ask for an evaluation before arranging recurring care or repair work.
