The pub opened in June 2017 near Rainbow and Tropicana in Spring Valley, owned by Chris Holding and Van-Alan Nguyen, and it started as a craft beer bar. The kitchen has since grown into as much of a draw as the taps. There are 24 rotating drafts, always including several local beers alongside West Coast names like Russian River's Pliny the Elder, plus a cooler of canned beer to drink in or take home. The bar top has a glycol-chilled strip that keeps your glass cold. ## Bánh mì and pub food Nguyen, who came to Las Vegas from San Diego, grew up in a Vietnamese household and remembers bánh mì runs to the deli with his grandfather. The menu mixes Vietnamese and other Southeast Asian flavors into pub standards: - Bánh mì with lemongrass honey soy barbecue pork, ginger garlic chicken, hoisin sambal pork belly or crispy cauliflower - Umami rice bowls, ahi poke and loco moco - A 70/30 craft burger, a pork belly burger and a Nashville-style hot chicken sandwich - Tacos, garbage nachos, and loaded fries on house-cut, double-fried Kennebec potatoes Weekend brunch runs Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a Vietnamese steak and eggs, a breakfast bánh mì and chilaquiles. Lunch specials run daily from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. ## Who comes in The room has repurposed wood walls, neon beer signs, a mounted buffalo head and a chalkboard beer list, with TVs over the bar for sports. It is non-smoking and has no gaming machines, so families come too, and a Mini Mis menu covers kids 12 and under.
